Dmitry Medvedev is on the official visit in Azerbaijan.
`Your visit coincides with the escalation of tension between the conflict sides of Nagorno-Karabakh. Unfortunately, this problem remains unsolved for many years. Time to time, we face with the provocations of Armenian side. I want to express my gratitude to Russia for its operative and timely steps to de-escalate tension on the contact line.
Azerbaijan is committed to peaceful solution of the conflict basing on the international law norms and resolutions of the OSCE Security Council, Aliyev stressed.

On April 8, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a narrow format meeting with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who is in the official visit to Azerbaijan.
Ilham Aliyev welcomed the Prime Minister, then photos were taken.
